is currently recruiting for the position of Level 4 Security Officer in the Kingston (Lake Katrine) area.
This is a strictly controlled and highly responsible position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Ensuring the integrity of the Physical Security Perimeter (PSP) at all times, through physical perimeter checks, video monitoring and security situational awareness practices.
-Ensuring that employees, contractors and, visitors entering the PSP have authorized physical access or are properly documented and escorted at all times.
-Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch for trespassers, disruptions, and other unlawful activities.
-Providing detailed daily activity reports and incident reports to management.
-Testing security systems, responding to drills and tests in a stand alone facility.
-Providing guidance and supervision to Level 1,2,3 Security Officers during the shift as needed.
-Reviewing uniform guard investigation reports and related incident documentation to ensure that they are complete and properly prepared.
Candidates must have the following:
-Must possess Law Enforcement or Military Experience or have Documented Extensive Security Experience at a high-risk/critical site(s).
-Must possess a current valid NYS unarmed security guard license.
-Must possess a current and valid NYS Driver's License.
-Will need to become certified in CPR and Basic First Aid.
-Must be able to successfully pass a Personal Risk Assessment (PRA) every seven years to access areas containing critical assets.
-Must successfully complete annual cyber security training modules and exams.
Officer Compensation -$35 an hour.
-Paid training.
