Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare items for shipment.
Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests and orders to verify accuracy Record shipment data, pack, seal, label, to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter Assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in excel preferred Previous shipping experience helpful Strong desire to learn on the job.
Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills Must be able to organize work to meet deadlines.
Reliable attendance, good work ethic, high integrity, must be able to pass background check and drug test.
