Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental office software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes - Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns - Manage the front desk area and keep it clean and organized Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred - Proficiency in using dental office software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines - Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
