The purpose of this position is to treat residents who have been referred to physical therapy by the resident's physician on written order. Identifying residents by diagnosis or observation or staff referral who may benefit from therapy and requests orders for evaluation and treatment. Qualifications: New York State Physical Therapy Assistant Certication Interpersonal Skills to Communicate Accurately and Precisely to Patients and Family Members Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility Preferred #2023Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
